Delete your account

1. Open Last Reel and tap your initials next to Projects to open Settings.
2. Scroll down and select Delete account. It is also under Privacy & data.
3. Type DELETE, confirm with your password or by signing in again, and select Delete account permanently.

Your account and data are deleted straight away. This is the fastest route, because being signed in proves the account is yours.

• Your sign-in account: email address, display name and linked Google or Apple sign-in.
• Every project: titles, credit blocks (including any names you entered), timing, look and format settings, and render history.
• Your profile: preferences, privacy choices and your product email choice.

Deletion is permanent. Deleted projects cannot be recovered.

• Your deletion request email is kept for up to 12 months as a record that we handled it.
• Residual copies in provider logs and backups are removed on Google Firebase’s normal deletion schedule.
• Usage analytics and session recordings from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are not linked to your Last Reel account. They expire on their own: analytics event data within 14 months, and session recordings within 30 days (13 months for any we saved to investigate a problem).
• Purchase and subscription records are kept by RevenueCat and the app stores for as long as tax, accounting and legal rules require.
• Advertising data collected by Google AdMob on the free plan is not linked to your Last Reel account and is held under Google’s policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
• Videos you exported stay wherever you saved or shared them. We never had copies.

We keep nothing else unless the law requires us to, in which case we keep only what is required, for as long as it is required.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel Pro first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple ID’s subscription settings, so you are not charged again.

You can delete individual projects from your projects library at any time. They are removed from your account straight away. In Settings → Privacy & data you can also turn off personalised ads. To stop product emails, or to ask us to delete other specific information, email hello@cookoo.dev.
