Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Hush account and associated personal data in the app or submit a verified request here. Panic wipe is separate and does not delete your login account.
Delete in the Hush app
- Open Hush and go to your mask profile.
- Open Settings & Safety.
- Select Delete account, confirm, and authenticate again if asked.
This is the fastest route because your signed-in session verifies ownership.
Request deletion without the app
Enter the email address registered to your Hush account. For your protection, submitting this form does not immediately delete an account. COOKOO will contact the registered address to verify ownership. The response is intentionally the same whether or not an account exists.
What deletion does
After verification, Hush removes your authentication account, private settings and activity, mask and handle, public content, reactions, follows, saves, blocks, mutes, and identifying copies in derived records. The process is designed to complete within 30 days.
Safety reports, audit events, and proof that the request was completed may be retained only in de-identified form for up to 12 months, unless a legal hold requires longer retention. See the Hush Privacy Policy for details.
